So, I have been a redhead off and on for almost 2 years now. I decided yesterday that it was time for a change and I was going to go dark again. Most people would associate that as going dark brown or black, but of course I have to put my own twist on that so I tried to remember my last venture with brown and burgundy and what I mixed.
I think I came pretty close!

Last Night's Venture (Face of the Night!)
So lately I haven't been much into putting on makeup. Yes, I seemed to have let myself go since I came back from Vegas--my makeup muse must have been kidnapped!
Yesterday my friend Tina was having a get together which we used to have every Wednesday night but lately everyone has been so busy, it was put on the back burner. While texting what time she wanted everyone over I asked if she was up for a makeup challenge. Mind you, her and I used to be major Aromaleigh addicts back in the day and would challenge each other with different color schemes or inspiration and show up at the grooming shop the next day with our eye shadow decked out.
So she said she was up for a challenge so I picked blue, orange, and yellow as our colors. I went with an artsy mod style complete with geometric shapes :)

Meow Foundation Results!
I am a 2N in Aromaleigh's Glissade formula, when I get lighter I mix in 1N Voile. I don't know why I mix the two different formulations, to me I don't feel a difference.
Anyway, I am a level 2 (frisky) Chartreux in Meow's foundation. For some reason though I only ordered it in the Purrrfect Puss formulation, so I'll have to try a sample of Pampered Puss....gah!
I even took some out and swatched my AL 2N Glissade and it looks like a dead on match so YAY :D
I'm guessing then I would mix in some of level 1 (sleek) Chartreux during winter. Anyway I'm so glad it wasn't too complicated and I'm only out twenty bucks....I love companies that provide samples!
I've never messed with undertones/overtones so it's kind of nice knowing that I have peach and yellow undertones from Meow's description. Aromaleigh's N was neutral so I just thought I had an even balance of undertones?
I will use my sample tomorrow for work and see how it wears/feels and update you!

MEOW HAUL
Well since the lovely Aromaleigh is shutting down ( :[ ) I realized I have to find a new company to order foundation from. Aromaleigh was the first and only mineral foundation I've ever used and I LOVE it.
Well, I have heard great things from Phyrra about Meow Cosmetics' foundation, so I ordered a buttload of samples to see what formulation I am. I am trying out both Pampered and Purrrfect formulations to see which works better for my skin.
edit to add: I am noticing that Pampered and Purrrfect formulations are different shades in the same color so I would advise you if you aren't sure what color level, let alone formulation you'll like best, order in BOTH if not ALL THREE formulations because your color could be off and you wouldn't want to waste money on a full size of the WRONG color!
